Curriculum

We focus on the ‘whole child’ by developing the ‘head’ – academics; ‘heart’ – emotional intelligence; ‘health’ – sports and wellbeing; and ‘hand’ – creativity and problem-solving.

BIJS believes that the curriculum includes all pupils’ learning experiences, both inside, ‘taught curriculum, and outside the classroom, ‘wider curriculum’. We offer the British National Curriculum as a basis for our taught curriculum. The ‘wider curriculum’ refers to the co-curricular activities (CCA) programme, Arts and Sports, and the trips programme.

To deliver our curriculum, we combine two of the most prominent curriculums around the world – the British National Curriculum (NC) and the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum (CAIE).
