Miss Ifeoma is a certified educator with a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Planning and also holds a B.Ed in Education, Guidance and Counselling from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Miss. She has 13 years of experience across different year groups in Primary School and is interested in supporting pupils with emotional, psychological and additional learning needs. Miss Ifeoma has significantly used her innate potential and abilities to maximise strengths and help children navigate challenges in and out of the classroom. Her hobbies are trying new recipes, meeting people and reading books.

Mrs Gloria ANAGO
EYFS COORDINATOR

Ms Gloria is a dedicated and passionate early childhood educator with nine (9) years’ experience. She believes every child is unique and learns differently hence, plans her lesson to cater for their individual learning styles. Having worked as a lead teacher and supervisor in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting has equipped her with the knowledge of creating an enabling environment that will make learners thrive in Prime and Specific areas of EYFS curriculum. She believes in experiential learning activities which spurs lifelong learning outcome in early years learners. Always upskilling to be relevant in her career has been her mantra as she has developed herself in several areas to better equip her to work with the early years age group. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), B.Sc. in Microbiology and is a certified teacher by Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). She has strong record of success with Dyslexic and ADHD children who progressively improved academically. Having participated in UK Teacher Certification Program Course on 3 Dimensions of Engaging Instruction and host of other trainings have equipped her with the knowledge needed to make learners transfer learning to long term memory. Ms Gloria has an award of Outstanding Online Learning experience for the early years during the Covid -19 Pandemic, as well as volunteering with her own virtual learning class for ages 3 to 8 years. She is a mother of four children and loves to swim, travel, dance and design graphically using Canva.

Mrs Funbi OYENUGA
KS1 COORDINTAOR

Mrs Funbi is a trained educator with over a decade of teaching experience, spanning roles as a classroom teacher, specialist teacher, Head of Year and several supervision roles, including being the chief editor of a school Yearbook for five consecutive years.

 

Mrs Funbi holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) with a BSc in Plant Science and is certified by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). She has recorded successes in crisis management as Head of the Year, intervention for student attainment as a class teacher and collaborating with teachers to deliver fantastic lessons within the purview of teaching and learning. Reading as well as hosting events, is her forte.

Mrs Imeh AMANAMA

Mrs Imeh is an Early Years educator with 9 years of classroom experience working with children using the EYFS British curriculum. She has a passion for helping children attain their milestones.
Mrs Imeh believes in giving every child in her care the opportunity to blossom, which she does through personalised plans that meet each child’s learning needs and style.
In line with self-development, Mrs Imeh has made efforts to develop herself over the years in areas relevant to her career. She has a Professional Diploma in Education (PDE), an advanced diploma in Early Childcare Education, and a BSc in Geology. She is certified by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
Mrs Imeh is the mother of two loving children. She loves to read, research, travel, cook and experiment with new recipes.

Ms Ngozi OBODIWE
Reception Teaching Assistant

Miss Ngozi has previously taught EYFS and KS1 pupils during her eight years of experience, focusing on Curriculum development.
She graduated from Delta State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Agriculture (Animal Science) and then pursued her teaching career by obtaining her Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Port Harcourt.
Miss Ngozi has attended the Cambridge International Education Conference, Partner Schools Global Network (PSGN) Teacher with British Council, Nigeria, among other professional courses.
When she has time to spare, Miss Ngozi takes pleasure in dancing, travelling and meeting people.

Ms Eno-Obong UDOH

Ms Eno-Obong Udoh is a dedicated, experienced, and certified teacher equipped with a passion for creating engaging learning experiences. She is an alumnus of the University of Uyo, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts. She also holds a Professional Diploma in Education from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching and Learning. With a teaching journey spanning 7 years, she has had the privilege of guiding and nurturing the minds of children aged 5 to 15 years old. She thrives at making learning an enjoyable, meaningful, and memorable experience for children. 

Aside from classroom teaching and learning, her interests range from singing to writing, reading to acting, dancing to physical fitness exercises, and cooking to mention but a few. 

Her aim is to help children reach their full potential and become the best version of themselves. 

Miss Elozino ETAMISHERE

Miss Elozino is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who believes in the uniqueness of every child and employs different strategies to help them to be successful learners. She holds a B.Sc. (Ed) in Economics from Delta State University. She has 3 years of experience working with children across various school levels.

Miss Elozino is a lover of movies, travelling and cooking.

Ms Agnes is a highly motivated and dedicated teacher with years of experience delivering educational assistance and instructions to various levels of learners.

She is also committed to providing students with the necessary tools to achieve academic goals, instilling a love of learning, cooperation and teamwork.

Ms Agnes has an exceptional ability to create an atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to students, ensuring that everyone feels seen and heard in the classroom.

Mrs Jolayemi is an experienced educator with a Master’s degree in English Education and a BA in English Language. She has over a decade of experience working in primary schools, holding positions ranging from class teacher, subject teacher, and club coordinator to year leader for several years in her former organization. 

Mrs Jolayemi is passionate about educating students and strives to encourage them intellectually, emotionally, and socially. She also believes in developing her students’ potential and positively touching them. She has a track record of creating a friendly and supportive environment that benefits students’ growth. 

Mrs Jolayemi is married and has a daughter. Aside from the classroom, she enjoys reading, music, and meeting new people.

Mrs Vivian Agada is a certified, resourceful, and goal-driven educator who has worked in top British schools as an elementary teacher for over 8 years. She holds a B.A. (Ed) in English from Ekiti State University, Nigeria. 

Mrs. Vivian is skilled in classroom management, lesson planning, differentiation, and educational technology. She has served in school committees set up for the planning of Spelling Bee, Elections, and Summer School activities. 

Mrs. Vivian’s hobbies are reading, sewing, listening to music, and watching TV. 

Miss Catherine IDENYI

Miss Catherine has over 3 years of experience teaching pupils across different key stages in primary schools. She has also taught English to non-English speaking learners in an Italian School.

Miss Catherine holds a Professional Diploma in Special Needs Education from the University of Lagos, and a BSc in Urban and Regional Planning from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She holds a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from Teacher Record Institute China. Miss Catherine also has obtained other educational certifications from the British Council.

Miss Catherine delights in ensuring that every child learns to the best of their abilities, and she picks interest in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

She enjoys singing, listening to music, cooking, and sightseeing in her free time.

Miss Jennifer OCHUKO

Miss Jennifer is a certified educator with a B.Ed. in Biology Education. She is passionate and dedicated to the teaching profession. She is certified in Teaching and Learning by Cambridge International Education. She believes in pushing hard to achieve a goal as difficulty does not mean it is not possible. Miss Jennifer has over the years used her innate abilities and knowledge to guide children to channel their abilities towards achieving excellence. She loves to listen to music, cooking, and travelling.

Ms. Adebukola Israel is a certified and experienced educator with over eleven years of experience in teaching within the junior school. She is a dedicated, resourceful, and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic development of every child.

Miss Adebukola is a technology enthusiast and this finds expression in her model of teaching children using engaging technology to foster learning. She is an accommodating and versatile individual with the talent to develop inspiring hands-on lessons that will capture a child’s imagination and breed. She believes every child is unique and learns differently. Miss Adebukola is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to pupils. Mrs Trudy OGBO

Mrs Trudy is a resourceful and qualified educator with a degree in Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and a BSc in Animal and Environmental Biology. With over a decade of experience working in various primary schools, she has served in multiple positions, from classteacher, subject teacher, and clubs coordinator to team leader for several years in her previous organisation.

 

Mrs Trudy has a strong passion for educating learners and always aims to support a child academically, emotionally, and socially. She also believes in maximising her learners’ potential and positively impacting them.

She has a history of creating a positive and encouraging environment that enhances students’ development. Mrs Trudy is a strong advocate for Continuous Personal Development, which has always led her to improve her skills and acquire other certifications relevant to her career.

Mrs Trudy is a mother of two children. Beyond the classroom, she loves reading, researching, writing, volunteering, and creating inspiring content on various social media platforms.

Mrs Esther OKEKE

Mrs Esther holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and is a certified Mathematics teacher. She has 8 years of teaching experience as a Subject Teacher, Class Teacher, and Assistant Head Teacher with responsibility for implementing the British curriculum. Mrs Esther believes that every child can succeed if adequate pedagogies are utilised, and pupils’ learning styles are tuned at the right frequency.
Before starting her teaching career, Mrs Esther was a tech-enthusiast, studying Computer Science and working for 3 years in an IT firm as an Application Tester.
Mrs Esther loves to research, and she is constantly looking at the best way to modify the learning domains of pupils. She also enjoys listening to music.

Mrs Flourish FEHLINGER

Mrs Flourish is a talented, resourceful, and professional educator committed to developing a total child. She studied English/Linguistics at the University of Jos, Plateau and ‘Learning and Teaching’ at Roehampton University, United Kingdom. She is a positive role model who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. With 21 years of experience in teaching, Mrs Flourish has a proven track record of creativity and leading students to high academic achievements. Her former pupils had recorded excellent performances in top-notch schools and received scholarships both locally and internationally. Mrs Flourish’s passion is to provide students with appropriate learning activities, support, and adventures designed to fulfil their emotional, intellectual, sound, and physical growth potential. She enforces critical thinking, collaboration, and cooperation amongst her learners.
Mrs Flourish has integrated technology into her teaching. This led to her being awarded the Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) 2020/2021. She also had offered her services in developing the school’s curriculum.
As she partners with all stakeholders, Mrs Flourish seeks to create rewarding and lasting experiences that will produce self-reliant and confident leaders.
Mrs Fehlinger loves drama and travelling, and she is a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

Ms Mary-Jane UDEZE

Ms Maryjane is a passionate educator, with quality experience in teaching English to second language learners and skilled in implementing effective learning practices for diverse students, including KS1 Literacy Specialist to checkpoint preparatory lessons, LAMDA instructor, and Drama instructor.  

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Education and is certified by the Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). Ms Maryjane is enthusiastic about creating engaging and interactive classroom environments. She is also a content writer/creator who decided to make good use of her scribbling hobby, a spoken word artist, an actor, an editor, and a huge fan of outdoor activities and learning

Ms Joyce IFEANYICHUKWU

(Ms) Tobiloba Jimmy is passionate about Art and imparting knowledge, highly industrious, resourceful and result oriented. She obtained her National Diploma in General Art from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos and went further to gain a Bachelor of Arts in Education; B.A. (Ed) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Nsukka Nigeria.
For 15 years now, she has developed Art Schemes and lessons for various schools and has been one of the key members of diverse school planning committees such as Summer Day Camp/Summer Art and Craft, in children’s parties such as Christmas Parties, Cultural Day, Graduation Parties, Sporting Activities and more.
Ms Tobi has organised and held exhibitions and prepared and taken pupils for Art competitions.
Ms Tobi believes that “Every child is an artist.”
In her spare time, Ms Tobi enjoys singing, dancing, actively helping others, and learning and exploring new Art and Craft ideas.

Mr Olusola AJAYI
Y5/6 Maths Teacher

Mr Olusola holds a Bachelor of Science Education in Mathematics from the University of Lagos, Akoka. He has 13 years of teaching Mathematics at the elementary level. Mr Olusola is a tech-savvy teacher who loves using technology to make Mathematics fun and enjoyable for his learners. Mr Olusola’s goal is to keep researching the current use of technology in education and applying the same in the classroom, and sharing best practices with his colleagues. Mr Olusola is a Microsoft Innovative Education Expert (MIEE) and a Microsoft Certified Educator: Technology Literacy for Educators – 21st Century Learning Design.

Ms Gladys is a certified educator with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and also holds a B.Sc in Business Education from the University of Maiduguri. Ms Gladys has 6 years of experience across different Key Stages in Primary School and is interested in supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Ms Gladys has skillfully used her knowledge in Early Childhood Education to make a significant impact in the lives of all children placed under her care. Her hobbies are meeting people, travelling and dancing.

Mr Bertrand MOUAHA
French Teacher

Mr Betrand is an experienced French Teacher, with 17 years of teaching experience at different levels, ranging from junior to secondary school gathered from top-notch schools where he has worked as a French teacher. 

Mr Betrand hailed from Cameroon where French is his first language. During his teaching career he has had training with the British and the American Curriculum. He is a holder of (B.Sc.) Accounting and a Diploma Certificate in Computer Science. 

Mr Betrand enjoys Teaching, Music and Traveling. 

Mr Adekunle ALIMI

Mr Adekunle is an experienced Art teacher with a demonstrated history wide and broad knowledge in the field of working with schools, organization and media at large.

He obtained his National Diploma focused on General Art from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos and also a Bachelor of Arts in Education; B.A. (Ed) from the University of Nigeria Nnsukka, Nigeria. 

Mr Adekunle is passionate about the subject Arts and has been teaching skills and creativity for over a decade. 

Mr Adekunle has had training with Partners School (British Council) and has been awarded with over 18 certificates. He is Highly Skilled in Painting, drawing, craft, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, Editing, Graphic Design/Digital Art, printing, Mixed media and project management amidst all.

Mr Adekunle loves Music, sports and exploring new ideas.

Mr Olugbenga is a seasoned music teacher committed to excellent music education. He holds a professional certificate from the Association of British Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). He has had training with Partners School Global Network (British Council) and has been awarded certificates on Understanding Child Protection, Engaging with Learning Technology, and Evidence-based Approach to Teaching.

Mr Olugbenga is a performance-driven music educator with over 10 years of experience, possessing an outstanding ability to work with all key stakeholders of the learning process to create a valuable, cohesive, innovative, and engaging experience for students. He has excellent subject knowledge, a good sense of humour, and a strong desire to provide his students with a world-class education by inspiring them to their full potential.

Mr Joshua AGAFIE

Mr Joshua holds a Bachelor Degree of Science Education in Physical and Health Education from Delta State University and Masters of Science Education in Sports Administration and Management from the University of Lagos. He is also a certified international civil servant from the United Nations. Mr Joshua has taught Physical Education professionally for 13 years at various educational levels, from Primary to Tertiary.
Mr Joshua enjoys teaching, sports and music.

Mrs Nana-Aisha IBRAHIM
Registrar

Mrs Aisha comes with good organisational and time management skills that she has shown in all her previous roles before joining the BIJS. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lagos. Mrs Aisha is well-travelled and compassionate, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, works effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. In her free time, Mrs Aisha practises and teaches yoga.

Miss Funmi ODEINDE

Miss Funmi holds a first degree in Computer Information Systems (B.Sc.) and a Masters in Management (M.Sc.) from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
Miss Funmi has 8 years of experience across a diverse range of customer service, human resource management, and Administration.
Her favourite sport is swimming, and she enjoys Music and Travelling.

Mrs Sandra BETZALEL

Mrs Sandra is an experienced executive assistant with over 7 years of experience supporting high-level executives. She holds a degree in Office Technology and Management and B.Sc Business Administration. Mrs Sandra has worked in small and large companies and is passionate about helping people and ensuring everyone is happy and comfortable. She is focused, a great team player, and highly attentive in her role.
She enjoys meeting new people and learning about new cultures in her free time.

Mrs Nafisat DOSUNMU
Accounting Officer

Mrs Nafisat is a seasoned financial officer with 10 years of experience. She has worked for a reputable bank in Lagos for a decade and has gathered a lot of knowledge in finance. Her qualifications include a National Diploma in Accounting and a BSc degree in Economics. She is currently enrolled in a professional course. Mrs Nafisat enjoys watching movies and listening to music in her spare time.

Miss Faith is a Registered Nurse with Nigeria’s Nursing and Midwifery Council.  She has a certification in Basic Life Support (BLC) and Women’s Health Care.

Miss Faith is an optimistic, caring, and ardent nursing professional with 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in various units, including general pediatrics.

Miss Faith is a good Listener. She enjoys swimming, reading, and listening to music in her spare time.
