Student Council

The aim of the School Council is to promote our school values, listen to our pupils’ voices and develop student leadership.

At the beginning of each school year, a child from each class across the school is elected by their peers to join the School Council. The team members then meet fortnightly with the Head of School to discuss and address any issues raised by the children. These are then shared with the rest of their class, sometimes through assemblies.

What the School Council do?

• School tours for visitors.
• Be ambassadors for the school at important events.
• Identify what your class thinks about issues and give feedback at meetings.
• Improve parts of the school that are a priority.
• Help organise events.
• Decide on action points for improvements.
